🎨 Watercolor Certificate Program — Requirements

🌿 Participants are required to complete a one-year program.

🌿 Feedback will be provided upon submission of each artwork.

🌿 A test will be administered at the end of every beginner-level watercolor course.

🌿 Upon successful completion of three assignments and a final project, participants will be awarded a Certificate in Watercolor Painting.

You can request assignments after completing every 15 practice videos, or opt to receive 3 assignments and 1 project at any point within a year.

🎨 Color Theory

1 – Color Wheel

The foundation of color mixing, showing how primary, secondary, and tertiary colors relate.

2 – Color Harmonies

Complementary colors create bold contrast, analogous colors feel smooth and calm, and split-complementary offers balance with a touch of vibrancy.

3 – Hue, Tint, Tone, Shade

Hue is the pure color. Adding white creates a tint, gray makes a tone, and black creates a shade for depth.

4 – Color Temperature

Warm colors (reds, oranges, yellows) feel energetic, while cool colors (blues, greens, purples) feel calming. Mixing them can create harmony.

5 – Color Proportion

Using the right amount of each color keeps designs balanced—often a dominant color, a secondary, and a smaller accent.

🎨 Watercolor Class – Learn Step by Step

Discover the art of watercolor painting through an ongoing class designed to take you from the very basics to advanced techniques. New lessons are posted every two weeks, allowing you to learn and grow at your own pace.

Unlike short courses, watercolor takes time and practice to truly master—10 or 15 paintings won’t be enough. That’s why we recommend at least a year of consistent practice to build real confidence and skill.
