Nyein Su's artistic journey began after completing her computer science degree at the University of Computer Studies, Yangon. In 2003, she shifted her focus to art, specializing in watercolor, and soon began participating in various exhibitions. In 2010, she was awarded a scholarship to study at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), where she specialized in Western painting and portraiture.
